Spring-flowering bulbs, such as hyacinths, narcissus or tulips, can be planted during the months of October to December. From March for summer-flowering bulbs such as begonias, gladioli and dahlias. The ideal soil is well-draining in order to avoid the proliferation of mould, and preferably in a sunny or partial shade location. Take care to protect long-stemmed flowers from the wind: this is the case with lilies and tall dahlias. You can very well tutor them for example. I also advise you to plant your bulbs in a staggered fashion: you can thus enjoy beautiful colors throughout the year!
